Float Coat™ Dog Life Jacket

I took my dog to the boat docks for the first time and he got to see his first sea otter, he was so excited that he followed it straight off the float and into the water. That was the moment I discovered my dog does not dog and he also does not swim. After a mild heart attack that shaved a decade off my life, I went straight to Ruffwear to solve this problem. And in true Ruffwear fashion, it couldn't be more perfectly solved.

This float coat fits perfect, is not cumbersome, my dog can run and play and yeet himself into the water with wild abandon! Thank you Ruffwear for making safety first but also taking into consideration the dog wearing the floatation device by making it minimalist, comfortable, and not bulky.

We already had vests for our older dogs and needed to add some for the puppies. They love them. At this time, they are wearing them around the house, but don't seem to mind them. These vests help them have confidence when we introduce them to our kayaks.

Other life jackets have always just fit my dog in all the ring ways. Either it was too big in one area or too tight in another it was just hard to find the right one- until now! This jacket fits my dogs chest just right while not restricting her shoulder movement which is big for a water loving lab who doesn’t know when to stop, hence the lifejacket! And it doesn’t hurt that it’s a super cute color!
