The Overcoat is the classic cold-weather utility jacket, built with sturdy, burly materials to keep up with even the most active dog diving through brush and brambles. The wind- and water-resistant outer fabric sheds light moisture, while the interior recycled polyester fleece lining adds cozy warmth. Side-release buckles on both sides provide easy on/off, and a leash portal allows the Overcoat to be worn over all Ruffwear harnesses (and most other harnesses).

    Love the style and the fit. And thanks for adding the harness slit!

    This coat is one of 4 ruffwear coats that my dog has. I love how much attention RW gives to the ergonomics of a dogs body. The plastic clips make it easy to put on and take off. Much better than velcro. Great for rain and cold weather.

    Perfect for everyday use in cooler conditions

    Excellent for everyday use when it’s not super cold but cold enough for a jacket. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback who can get cold easily so this is perfect for him.

    Outstanding jacket

    This is the third time I have bought one of these coats. There are several reasons first it is incredibly durable. It’s never gotten the tear from dogs pulling on it to getting caught in a branch second I like the way that it secured around the body and my dog doesn’t mind, having it put on at all. It fits perfectly.
