The Trail Runner™ hands free dog leash belt offers humans a comfortable, bounce-free, load-dispersing design with an intuitive leash attachment release for quick disconnect when needed.

The belt includes a zippered, water-resistant pocket, a stretch mesh pocket, and an included 21 ounce, BPA-free Ruffwear water bottle that fits securely in a holster on the back. While the belt is compatible with any leash, this system includes our shock-absorbing Ridgeline™ Leash, designed at a length that’s optimized for running or walking.

    Best Running system!

    This has been a game changer! I love to run with my dog, but he is fast and unpredictable and this leash/human harness makes things so much more manageable. When my dog veers left or right there is much less of a jerk and the weight of the pull is more well distributed across my waist. This has even been great for walking - I love being hands free!

    Love it!

    I bought this to use to marathon train with my golden retrievers in Alaska this winter. It’s awesome! Gives them enough distance but still keeps them close and they can move around beside me if they want. I love that it has a zippered pocket to hold my car key and dog poop bags. Haven’t used the water bottle since temps are already well below freezing here, but I’ll try it out in the summer. Belt doesn’t bounce at all. I’ve been recommending it to everyone!

    hands free, no trip

    LOVE LOVE LOVE for my active Border/Aussie. No more shoulder strain. Fits me and my spouse equally well, and sturdy. She seems to enjoy as well. Pulling is minimal, versus constant tractordog and hassle of leash in hand. Highly recommend!
