This was an AMAZING find! Due to an emergency surgery in November, my dog was shaved on the stomach and both sides. Normally fine in the Winter with her part beagle-chow double layer fur, we had a scary moment when she started visibly shivering during a light rain - just after 2 minutes for a bathroom walk.
We urgently searched high and low for winter coats that would not irritate her anywhere near the incision site.
The vert was the only coat we found that has a loose design with the brilliant soft chest wrap & closure system. (Other coats have these awful, clingy, huge velcro belts that would not have worked at all. ) The Vert system is so soft and easy on the fur (& skin) -- it was a cinch to get on and off, and she could walk with full warmth during a difficult recovery. And it's water proof.
I strongly recommend this coat to have on hand in case of a medical emergency like we had.
