4 Paws Up!!!

I absolutely love this towline!! I use it as an every day leash and it's perfect. I really like that it's a little longer than most leashes to start. I find the typical leashes at 5' isn't enough length so to start with 6.5' and the bungee extension to 8.75' is a real treat. I think my dog appreciates the bungee extension - it's a nice warning that he's coming to the end of the "line". The Swiveling Crux Clip is great, super easy to use. I know that may sound funny/weird but I seem to have such a hard time with the ruffler Talon Clip, I cannot seem to work it well.

Why, oh why mess with a good thing, Ruffwear, WHY?

I bought the leash sometimes last year, I loved it so much that I got another one recently and the new design is flimsy in the leash and totally subpar in that toy clip you replaced the good stuff with. No way I’m trusting this glorified shoelace when I’m out there with my dog. Please go back to the original design!

Great length and shock absorption

The towline is excellent at absorbing shock when the doggo starts pulling or suddenly changes angles, and settles nicely as you're cruising along. It is a great length for cross country. It is great for use as an extra line or in your own custom setup. I use it for skate skiing with my dog, and it's long enough for my long dog and long skis not to get tangled up. The dog clip is simple and easy to use - it may take a moment to push it over a thicker piece of webbing, like the x-back harness I use with my set up. The human end is not a clip, but two small plastic rings that are meant to go through the strap on the RuffWear human harness. You can use another strap or put a carabiner through the same loop as the plastic rings, to attach to your belt or other non-standard harness. Just don't clip further down where the towline straps divide, as that stitching is not meant to be weight bearing. Enjoy the ride!
