Excellent take-along rain coat.
This coat pack down into its own pocket so it fits in the palm of my hand. I slopped a small carabiner through a little loop on the outside of the pocket and I attach it to my leash. This raincoat is very light, thin material. I wouldn't use this as a full time rain coat but it is absolutely excellent for short term use. I have a service dog and it isn't always practical for me to carry around his heavier rain coat. With this one I attach it right to his leash and it also fits nicely into a pocket on his vest without adding much weight at all. Its important for me to be able to have some protection from the rain for my dog on hand. I never know when I might get caught in a parking lot trying to go into a business with my dog in tow soaking up the rain as we go. I can slap this coat on him so he's nice and dry by time we get to the door and no one can complain about a wet dog. I love the cut on this raincoat which is just like the cut on his heavier rain coat. The back of the coat comes down low on his hips and forelegs. The collar flips up for extra protection too. There are elastic straps for the hind legs that keep the coat from sliding to one side or the other. Now, if there just some thigh high galoshes to go with this!
Spider’s new windbreaker ♥️
My little French Bulldog, Spider, loves his windbreaker. It's super lightweight. Once we took Spider’s legs out of the back leg loops, the jacket allowed this very active puppy to move w/o restriction. The jacket fits and stays in place on Spider @dogblogspider w/o the leg loops but they would be great for a small dog with a shorter body. Spider is long a lean with a big bulldog head. A+ on tnis product
Perfect for Florida
I needed a light jacket to go under my Service Dogs vest on cold days when he would be outside alot. This worked great, easy to put on and easy to pack into the collar making it easy to store.
Perfect for rain, wind and snow!
Easy on and easy off. Keeps rain and snow off my #43 pound labradoodle. Back leg straps keep it in place in windy Montana.
Not enough coverage
OK. This is a very nicely made garment, and is the first windbreaker I've seen for dogs. However, I would like the sides to drop down further for more protection, and for the neck to be less open at the throat My dog is a "PinscherWawa," VERY short hair and nearly ***** underneath. (I call her the "Miami dog" however I live in the mountains in New Mexico.) I wish all dog clothing had more belly coverage but I understand the male dog thing. I suppose my dog just needs totally custom made clothing!
