Last February, my dog's neck fur was shaved to remove a small benign growth and the fur has not fully grown back. So, this Swamp Cooler gaiter serves both as skin protection from the sun's rays and, used wet, keeping her cool on these hot days. The fabric colors are attractive, and it fits her very well.
