Actually this is a replacement for one that has held up for ~3 years despite lots of swimming, trekking and snowshoe adventures ... outliving several other brands by 10 or 12 fold.... also the clips / attachment is nice and secure too! Hoping the new one does as well as its predecessor - which still works, but no longer hold a charge for more than a few hours - unfortunately doesn't look like there is any way to replace the battery😟
