Greatest Leather in a Dog Leash, great for Bloodhounds!
Have a 115 lb bloodhound baby that loves to explore and smell everything. Despite the shorter length of 4 ft this leash works great. Also, found that the leather used in this leash is far superior to any other leather leash I have owned in my 20+ years of owning large dogs. It’s so incredibly soft, resilient and durable. Looks greats despite many adventures. I have 2 leashes, one in orange with a matching collar for everyday and and a teal one that I use as my therapy dog leash for volunteering with my pup. Only reason I need two is that it’s best to have separate equipment for volunteering to prevent spread of germs from places like hospitals.
Exactly what you’d expect. It’s the best leash I’ve used.
Timberline leash & collar
Ordered 2 of the Timberline leashes & collars for our Great Dane and our (hyperactive) Boxer. Felt so supple when I received them that I was worried a bit about the durability. They have held up great with 2 bog dogs pulling and chewing on them. They wear the collars all day playing and in and out of the doggy door and they still look basically new.Leash clasps are excellent and will not break apart with wear and tear. Even our vet was impressed and wanted to know where we had gotten the products.
Soft, Strong, despite being thin!
The leather leash and collar are wonderful. I highly recommend buying the set. The product feels light and thin but it is very strong and does not warp. My pup is a 114 lb bloodhound and she can pretty much stretch, R.I.P., break anything. Leather collars and leashes were a big no-no for her until this product as she would stretch them out too quickly and the tough leather would rub and give her sores. The only thing that I could recommend as an improvement for the leash is length. This is a 4ft, wth my kind of dog who likes to sniff a 5 ft leash would be a bit more comfortable to walk with as my hound would get a bit more slack.
It's a 10
