Dogs can hold their stride with the Vert™ Jacket no matter what elements are thrown their way. Designed to embrace the wintry-mix that would otherwise mean spending the day inside, the shell fabric is windproof, waterproof, and breathable.

The Vert™ Jacket features extended waterproof coverage over the hips and thighs and recycled, lofted insulation that packs exceptional warmth. Leg loops keep the jacket in place when the winds kick up, and the leash portal allows the Vert™ to be worn over a harness.

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Vert is a Relaxed Fit with side-release buckles for easy on/off and extended vest coverage over hips and thighs.

    This winter coat is wonderful. It is waterproof and fits my 17# cavapoo perfectly. I love the rear leg elastic bands that help hold the coat down on windy days. She stays toasty in this jacet.

    Great winter coat for my Boston pup!

    For a little while, winter wasn't hitting us very hard and I was regretting investing some money in purchasing this coat for my dog, but now? Not at all. It's definitely helping him stay warm during our daytime walks and the wind is whipping, and it covers his entire body so his exposed areas are as minimal as it can get without putting him in some kind of body suit. As everyone mentions, the elastic bands for the back legs do seem like they would eventually wear out and be unusable but for now (just a couple of weeks of wear) it hasn't been an issue and it doesn't look like it's too stretched out or anything like that.
