Dogs can hold their stride with the Vert™ Jacket no matter what elements are thrown their way. Designed to embrace the wintry-mix that would otherwise mean spending the day inside, the shell fabric is windproof, waterproof, and breathable.

The Vert™ Jacket features extended waterproof coverage over the hips and thighs and recycled, lofted insulation that packs exceptional warmth. Leg loops keep the jacket in place when the winds kick up, and the leash portal allows the Vert™ to be worn over a harness.

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Vert is a Relaxed Fit with side-release buckles for easy on/off and extended vest coverage over hips and thighs.

    Best coat for my Dogs

    This is the perfect coat for my smooth coat border collie , it keeps him dry and warm on cold wet mornings. It fits him snuggly and he seems very comfortable playing fetch and running life a crazy boy in it. Size small worked well for him, he’s 42 lbs.

    Vert Winter Dog Coat A Winner!

    Purchased two medium size in orange for our two granddog Australian Huskies in Northern Wisconsin. Easy on and off. They are waterproof and insulated. Keeps them dry, warm and safe when they are in the woods during hunting season. They also look like the two best dressed dogs around!

    Great winter coat

    The coat lightweight and warm. It’s easy to put on and take off. Our dog usually dislikes wearing coats but haven’t had any issues with this one.
