The Overcoat is the classic cold-weather utility jacket, built with sturdy, burly materials to keep up with even the most active dog diving through brush and brambles. The wind- and water-resistant outer fabric sheds light moisture, while the interior recycled polyester fleece lining adds cozy warmth. Side-release buckles on both sides provide easy on/off, and a leash portal allows the Overcoat to be worn over all Ruffwear harnesses (and most other harnesses).

    Great coat!

    This is a well made coat. My dog was 27" but long so tried the size medium but did need to exchange for a small. Process was very easy.

    Third Overcoat

    This is our third Overcoat purchase. We got the first one about 10 years ago, and is still going strong! The two recent Overcoats are for our pups who are enjoying them on chilly mornings. All 3 dogs love them and it’s the most versatile jacket we have. We’ve even layered it underneath a rain jacket.

    Love this jacket

    Bought it as a replacement of an older model our pooch lost. This is even better. The buckles versus the snaps, the really tuff material with reflective bands and a perfect fit. Covers him from neck to slightly down over tail. Takoda waits patiently for us to put it on him and then tears out into the rain. Something he never did before!

    Perfect

    At first, I was a little skeptical because I’ve bought a harness before, and it was good, but nothing special. However, this coat was genuinely surprising – it was perfect. For years, I’ve been buying clothes for my Delta, but nothing ever fit right (either too small or too large). This coat, however, fit perfectly, as if it was made for my Delta. I would definitely buy again.
