Good travel bed
Perfect size the for back of our Subaru Outback and rolls up nicely for packing. Our dog gets very excited whenever he sees it and he knows he is going on vacation. It hasn't been wet, yet, but dirt & leaves shake off easily. With Jake's bad back, he couldn't use it alone for too many nights in a row, but we layer another similar weight bed for longer trips - easier to pack two thinner beds than a less flexible and and harder to pack/carry bed.
Good for the right dog
I purchased this pad for 2 reasons: to take with us on trips and to place in the bottom of her crate when we're away. She tore off the Velcro straps and has chewed holes in 2 corners and pulled the stuffing out. I like the concept of the bachelor pad, it just wasn't as strong as I needed it to be.
Just as described. Well made. Perfect size. My Siberian is happy.
My dog likes this bed, even more so when we go camping. It is lightweight and it's extremely portable-I'm able to clip it to my pack with a carabiner and can't even tell it's on. My only issue is that it is just not durable enough for long term use. There is a small hole worn into the top part of it where the material seems to have thinned out. I've had it for about a year, I believe, but it spends most of its time in the house. For future designs, maybe have the bottom material completely encase it with the microsuede on top of that to ensure complete waterproofing and durability.
Nello just loves his new pad. We used it last week for the first time while we were doing our nosework sessions in the countryside, and it was all wet (he doesn't like resting on wet grass!) and he just loved relaxing on the bed. And it's super easy to carry, too!
