Mt. Bachelor Pad Bed
This pad fits perfectly in the back of my Crosstrek with the seats folded down. It works really great for short trips around town so that they don't have to lay on the hard plastic/rubber mats. One thing I wish is that the microfiber top was a little thicker material, but it works great for what I need it for.
The pad bed is a great portable place for your companion, especially outdoors. It tends to hold fur/hair, which has its pros and cons. In terms of improvement, wish that there was place to tuck velcro strips - dogs have tendency to want to pull/chew on these strips.
Good travel bed
Perfect size the for back of our Subaru Outback and rolls up nicely for packing. Our dog gets very excited whenever he sees it and he knows he is going on vacation. It hasn't been wet, yet, but dirt & leaves shake off easily. With Jake's bad back, he couldn't use it alone for too many nights in a row, but we layer another similar weight bed for longer trips - easier to pack two thinner beds than a less flexible and and harder to pack/carry bed.
Good for the right dog
I purchased this pad for 2 reasons: to take with us on trips and to place in the bottom of her crate when we're away. She tore off the Velcro straps and has chewed holes in 2 corners and pulled the stuffing out. I like the concept of the bachelor pad, it just wasn't as strong as I needed it to be.
Just as described. Well made. Perfect size. My Siberian is happy.
