Built with strength-rated hardware and components, the Load Up Harness has been designed to be easy to put on, comfortable over long hauls, and able to withstand the rigors of a vehicle crash.

The universal seat belt loop attaches to existing seat belts and allows dogs to stand, sit, and sleep as they please while keeping them secure during sudden vehicle movements. The Load Up is easy to put on and adjust, and it can be left on dogs for quick bathroom breaks and rest stops.

    So far so good

    Just got the harness and tried it out, it was a little difficult to put on, but I think I have the hang of it now. I’m glad that it clips in the seatbelt. So far it worked. I do wish getting on and off was a little easier, I’d like to leave in the car and put on in the seat. No complaints, glad it’s crash tested.

    Good fit for my greyhound

    We were looking for a rated car harness for our greyhound, which has been difficult due to their large chests but skinny waists and necks. This harness has a lot of adjustability, and we got a nice snug fit on our greyhound. The buckles are different from typical harnesses, but they feel much more secure and sturdy. There isn't a loop at the top of the harness where we would typically clip her leash so we use a different harness for walks. Our dog is getting used to being buckled in on car rides - she is used to being able to move around more, but she's learning and getting more comfortable with it. Overall, I really like this harness for car rides, and I like that it is tested. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a safe car harness and for hound owners who need a lot of adjustability in harnesses.

    Time will tell!

    I'm very impressed with the workmanship on the harness. (The buckles were a puzzle at first until I watched the video and figured them out) No question it will be safe for him. But I goofed up and read the measurements for girth as weight, so I have a L/XL harness for a 30 pound puppy. Needless to say we have a while to wait until he will fit into it. Of course I took the yellow label off so it cannot be returned and cant afford another just now. We will just have to keep using the crate until he fits into it. All my bad!

    Ruffwear for the win!

    My family absolutely loves Ruffwear for our two XL dogs! We have been looking for a crash tested harness that we could use during quick potty breaks on long road trips as well. Super durable and great color!

    Works with stainless steel braided wire cable

    My husky got hopelessly entangled in the seat belt when the seatbelt went through harness loop. Instead of using the seatbelt, we are using Mighty Paws' stainless steel braided wire cable through the harness loop. The cable attaches to the latch bar. No more tangling. Works perfectly. The harness is great quality, I like the buckles.
