Strategic material choices and design offer solutions for the challenges that hot-weather exploring presents. The light-colored fabric reflects solar radiation, while wetting the vest activates our Swamp Cooler™ Tech for that refreshing, just-stepped-out-of-a-lake feeling also known as evaporative cooling. Just give it a soak, put it on your dog, and go. When it dries, re-soak it to recharge it.

The Swamp Cooler™ Vest includes side-release buckles for easy on/off and a leash portal so it can be worn over a harness – topping off the essential features to make it our highest-coverage cooling option in the Swamp Cooler™ Collection.     I am very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the swamp cooler vest. It is heavy-duty and will withstand the rigors of the trail and campsite. It keeps my dogs cool and comfortable in the extreme heat during the summer. I highly recommend this product.

    Kept My Dog Cool

    My short dog easily gets overheated even in moderate weather. The Swamp Cooler Cooling Dog Vest kept her comfortably walking the entire time, probably could have gone further!

    What a Difference!

    Living in Arizona , walking my dog even at night, he walked slowly and panted for some time after coming home. The first night out with his Ruffwear cooling vest he trotted the entire walk and did not pant during his walk or after he came home. He is a husky/lab mix so his being able to be cool here in the summer is amazing! This is my second big dog I’ve had while living in Arizona and my first dog wore an older version of your cooling vest and it worked wonders while hiking in the desert.
