The BackTrak Evac Kit™ is an emergency evacuation kit that’s prepared for the unexpected so you and your dog can confidently go out and go further.

It includes two components: a lightweight first-aid dog muzzle, and a human vest with a built-in dog carrying sling. Together, these are designed to aid you if an emergency situation comes up and your dog is injured or sick and unable to get back to the car under their own power.

The first-aid muzzle features micro-adjustability around the snout and has a buckle for quick and easy securing behind your dog's ears. The human vest/dog sling features several points of adjustment for the dog and human, with color-coded straps for easy setup. It can be worn with the dog either in the front or the back.

    Peace of mind

    After extensive research on various evacuation harnesses, I was very pleased to discover this particular model. Unlike many others on the market, the human harness includes excellent shoulder padding and wide hip belts, which are often missing or require separate purchase. This added support makes carrying much more comfortable and adjustable for a range of body types.

    The color-coded clips and printed instructional images are especially helpful, providing reassurance that I can put everything on quickly and correctly in an emergency situation. I also appreciate the thoughtful design of the dog vest, it’s easy to secure around my pet without having to lift their legs, and it offers a snug, safe fit that many standard-size harnesses don’t accommodate.

    Another standout feature is that the entire pack compresses into its own compact pocket, making it convenient to carry. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase and would confidently recommend it over other harnesses currently available.

    XS and XXS?

    I’d buy this for both my dogs if they made XS and XXS. They are hunting dog mixes and we go hiking frequently. They use the Regular wear harnesses, but a way to carry them properly for long distances if necessary would be nice.
