It may be short, but the list of ways to use the Front Range™ Short Leash is long. Whether you’re navigating crowded areas, making a quick transition from the car to the trail head before heading off-leash, or working on some training, this traffic leash packs big function into a small package.

It features a lightly-padded handle and Ruffwear's unique lockable Crux Clip™ hardware for a comfortable and confident connection. When off-leash, tri-fold the webbing into the elastic keeper strap for easy stowing. For dogs and humans needing to stick close together, it’s a surprisingly useful add to your leash quiver.

WHAT’S NEW: Webbing now includes recycled content for a reduced impact on the planet.

    Great for high traffic

    This leash is super helpful for high traffic areas and/ or when on a long leash and need to keep my dog close when passing people or other dogs. My dog is reactive to other dogs and I haven’t had a problem with the clip undoing when my dog does pull on it!

    Great for hiking!

    Been wanting a mini leash for a while for hiking. When the short leash is clipped to the top ring of my web master harness, I feel totally comfortable letting my dog run with the leash on, even in the woods. It is great for off leash hikes when we pass others on the trail and I need a quick hold of my pup!
