The Grip Trex dog boots set the standard in paw wear for dogs who hike, bike, run, or explore the great outdoors with their humans.

With the Grip Trex, those paws can go the distance thanks to the rugged and resilient Ruffwear-designed Vibram outsole with exceptional traction and protection on varied terrain. Breathable mesh upper provides ventilation, and the closure system combines hook-and-loop with hardware, cinching around the narrowest part of the dog’s leg to provide a secure fit.

Set of TWO boots. Many dogs have wider front paws than rear paws. We offer our boots in sets of two so you can order the appropriate sizes for a good fit on both the front and rear paws.

Sturdy, Well-made Boots
I am a volunteer puppy raiser for a guide & service dog school, and I live where summers routinely have highs in the upper 90's and low 100's. Since my puppies go just about everywhere with me, I need to protect their paws from hot pavement and concrete for several months of the year. The RuffWear Grip Trex boots have been a great product for my need. My puppies over the years have all adapted easily to wearing them, the boots are breathable, they are sturdy, and they wash well in a washing machine. These boots are well-made and I have only needed to buy new ones when I have a pup with different sized feet than the boots I have on hand. You might find cheaper boots elsewhere, but the quality is cheaper, too. Buy RuffWear and you won't need to replace them every couple years.

Awesome Boots…
The black 1 pair in this order I purchased was too large. But I am returning and already reordered the correct size. I have purchased these boots for BOTH My 1st Service Dog NINA RIP and Had to purchase a New Set for CREED My 2nd Service Dog Because CREED IS Somewhat Larger in Size. The Durability of the ones I purchased for NINA My 1st Service Dog IS Still in Great Shape. If it wasn’t for the size Difference I would’nt have needed the second pair

Makes walking possible
We live in an urban area with temperatures in the 90's routinely in Summer and Fall. That makes walks on sidewalks and roads either very early morning or late at night. Our Grip Trex boots make walking possible in a much more extended part of the day. Our latest purchase (this is set #4 over 7 dogs) is for a puppy who is still acclimating but I have no fears that she will be ready for summer, with her Grip Trex boots. Breaking in takes a bit of time, but well worth it. We look forward to walking . . .

Great shoes!
Our dog loves to go for long city walks in the summer, but her feet get really hot. These work great for protecting her feet on the pavement and were really easy to break in.

C’mon Summer
Bought these early thinking it would take lots of treats & patience to get my dog used to wearing them before Summer got here and NOPE!! They fit so good, he loves having the extra traction and doesn’t even notice they’re on.
They are so easy to slip on & take off!
We both LOVE THEM & can’t wait to hit the road this Summer.
