At the sides of the pack on one side is an elastic mesh perfect for a partially empty roll of poop bags or several off the roll stuffed inside (I tried a full roll of poop bags and it was too full for the mesh pocket, but that is what larger poop bag dispensers are for!). The other side of the pockets at the waist is a double webbing lashing point that I loop the handle of my Roamer Bungee Leash through and clip to the pack so I can walk and hike hands-free.
