Its low-profile, reflective 7 mm rope settles comfortably into short or long fur, and the sliding fisherman's knots make it easy to adjust for optimal fit.     So far so good.

    Our 8 yo Border/Aussie had been wearing the same collar since he was 6 months old...relax...it's adjustable. Thought it was time to get a new one for the boy and Ruffwear's website helped me pick out the perfect one given he's very active and has long hair. Love the collar so far and so does Ollie!

    Perfect!

    This collar is perfect for my baby. It soft and comfortable for her and it doesn't cut the hair on her neck like the other collars we have tried. The reflective surface is awesome. Pixie is Black with Tan Brindle. I couldn't find her on our 1 acre backyard at night until I put this collar on her. Now it is easy with just a swing of my flashlight.

    No More Matting!

    I bought this collar for all three of my Australian Shepherds and we LOVE it! I’ve owned Aussies for more than thirty years, and this collar is the only one I’ve tried that does not cause mats around the neck area. It is easy to fit and does not slip. The leash attachment is easy to find in a long coated dog, which I appreciate so much when I am trying to get three of them leashed and out the door. This collar is sturdy and tough but lightweight; I can even leave it on for baths because it dries so quickly. Can’t imagine I’ll ever need any other kind of collar than the RuffWear Knot-a-Collar.
