Answer the call of the open road with your No. 1 canine co-pilot and the Load Up Harness - a crash tested dog harness designed to travel to and from adventures. Built with strength-rated hardware and components, the Load Up Harness has been designed to be easy to put on, comfortable over long hauls, and able to withstand the rigors of a vehicle crash.

The universal seat belt loop attaches to existing seat belts and allows dogs to stand, sit, and sleep as they please while keeping them secure during sudden vehicle movements. The Load Up is easy to put on and adjust, and it can be left on dogs for quick bathroom breaks and rest stops.

    Great harness

    My pup has several Ruffwear harnesses and this one fits true to size. I used it for a long road trip and felt more at ease with her secured. I do wish it had a leash attachment for when we pulled over for a walk. I also found the straps awkward - there is a lot of excess strap and the Velcro is awkward. It’s good quality and my pup seemed comfortable in it in the car.

    Well designed. Very study.

    Love ruff wear products! They’re always designed with such care. When fitted this harness is very easy to get on and off. Here’s Juno, 20” border collie (38-40lbs). She wears a size small.

    Great Product

    The video explaining how to adjust the fit was excellent as it was not intuitive at first glance. My 18 month-old Rottweiler's prior seal belts had been simple straps and buckles so he "could not move" once he was securely strapped in this harness! He figured it out pretty quickly and I feel much better about his safety while on the road. Thank you for a great product.

    So far, so good

    Got this for one of our 4 dogs that rides in the front seat. It does give some level of comfort. Our old guy hates wearing anything on his body, but he doesn't seem to mind this as he gets to go in the car, visit the cows and get a snack.

    Adjustment and fitting was pretty quick and easy. Product seems well made. Strong straps, nicely padded and, the reason I went with this brand, it seems to have a wider chest area and it has metal clips. The other safety tested car harness has plastic clips.

    Overall, so far happy with this purchase. Hopefully we'll never have to really test it out.
