While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Stumptown is a Relaxed Fit with vest coverage and side-release buckles for easy on/off.

    Materials, cut and color are PERFECTION

    Ducky is a 3 yr old field golden that loves the water and being outdoors. In the photo: It’s sunny here in WNC but it’s around 30-40 degrees in the morning. We’ve been having colder temps, too. I could tell that Ducky did not want fleece or anything that would be static like to wear. His coat /hair is somewhat fine but also sheds water well.

    In the photo, he was relaxing outside and he definitely did this in colder weather longer because of his jacket. He wears a medium and it’s the perfect colors. When I first got it I was curious about the “insulated” part because it seems thin. However, it’s been a good lightweight coat with warm layer so he can exercise without overheating himself. He goes to work with me everyday so this coat gets worn in the warehouse / offices while we handle all the shipping and retreiving by Duckman!
