Summit Trex™ Dog Shoes

I bought these for my aging large-breed tripod. His remaining back foot, in particular, needed some protection. He has some arthritis in his hip and when he gets tired, he might drag his foot, which causes abrasions on his toes, etc.. Plus, while out on a walk back in November, he lacerated his back foot pad and some toes and it took months of daily dressing changes at the vet to get it cleared up and fully healed. I do not want to go through that again. To date, he has demonstrated no discomfort in wearing the boots and we have not experienced any skin abrasions, blisters, etc., after wearing the boots (with the socks). I have piece of mind that his feet are protected from anything on our short walks. He does seem to not fatigue as quickly when wearing the boots, so it may be that his feet are just more comfortable now.

I’ve been using these for my pup to prevent her paws from cracking on roads that have been salted in the winter. I’m sure they’re going to be great for hot summer days, too! She’s usually resistant to having apparel put on her such as coats/vests, but she let me put these right on with no complaints!

I have a 7 month old Golden Retriever.

He adapted very well to his new boots. He wears them all the time. Easy to put on and take off.

Quality shoes to protect my service dog in training's feet. Fit great and easy to get on. Haven't used in the summer heat, but hopeful these will work well and breathe during the Florida summers.

We are only trained for rear feet wearing (not all four yet), but LOVE these! Fantastic booties for protecting paws from fridged temps and from salt on the road. Easy to put on and they stay on...even in snow drift bounding. Used them with the socks. Flexible and need less breaking in than other booties. The tappy tap on the pavement is one of the best sounds!
