The oversized storm collar folds up for additional weather protection and the leash portal on the back fits over most harnesses.

Whether you're blazing the trails or exploring the backcountry, leg loops provide a secure fit option in windy weather, while reflective accents create visibility in low-light conditions. The relaxed fit and side-release buckles make it easy to put on and take off, and the extended vest means more coverage for your dog's hips and thighs.

    Sun Shower Coat

    Replaced our older Ruffwear rain jacket with one. We haven’t used it yet because it is winter here but low the added coverage on the side and hind end. I know we will love it as much as our other one!

    Perfect lightweight raincoat

    My dog and I moved to the PNW, so our long walks have been rainy quite often.

    Unfortunately for us, finding a raincoat to keep him dry over hours spent in the rain + that wouldn't ride up due to his high tail set proved difficult.

    He has quite a few ruffwear items I've been very pleased with, so I ordered him a sun shower coat.

    He has been dry, comfortable, with the coat covering his entire back and design accommodating his high tail set (poodle mix). Happy to find it even keeps most of his chest dry despite not looking like much covering.

    It does let some water in on the back (where the stitching for a leash to be clipped to a harness is), but I'll likely just cover that with reflective fabric tape as we don't need it anyway.

    Huge plus: it folds very small and weighs next to nothing, so it fits in my small everyday pack and layers comfortably over his cloud chaser jacket if it's colder (last picture).

    In short, two paws up from us!
