Strategic material choices and design offer solutions for the challenges that hot-weather exploring presents. The light-colored fabric reflects solar radiation, while wetting the vest activates our Swamp Cooler™ Tech for that refreshing, just-stepped-out-of-a-lake feeling also known as evaporative cooling. Just give it a soak, put it on your dog, and go. When it dries, re-soak it to recharge it.

The Swamp Cooler™ Vest includes side-release buckles for easy on/off and a leash portal so it can be worn over a harness – topping off the essential features to make it our highest-coverage cooling option in the Swamp Cooler™ Collection. THREE-LAYER CONSTRUCTION

Wicking outer layer: reflects heat, facilitates evaporation to disperse heat, and offers UPF 50+. Absorbent middle layer: stores water for evaporation. Mesh lining: keeps dog dry and comfortable.

    Swamp Cooling Dog Vest

    I have been nothing but impressed with the quality. Durability and style of all Ruffwear products I have gotten. Definitely worth the price for the high quality material and stitching. My Little Emmet does not tolerate the heat well so this coat opens up a world of adventures!!!

    Great Product!

    I am very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the swamp cooler vest. It is heavy-duty and will withstand the rigors of the trail and campsite. It keeps my dogs cool and comfortable in the extreme heat during the summer. I highly recommend this product.

    Kept My Dog Cool

    My short dog easily gets overheated even in moderate weather. The Swamp Cooler Cooling Dog Vest kept her comfortably walking the entire time, probably could have gone further!
