The Switchbak Harness has the padded comfort of an everyday dog harness with handle, plus the bonus functionality carrying small essentials. The two low-profile zippered pockets have room to stash those day-to-day necessities like pick-up bags, a leash, or some treats.

It features two leash attachment options: a V-ring centered on the back and a reinforced webbing loop at the chest, great for redirecting dogs that pull on leash. Dial in the right fit with high adjustability and a padded belly strap - critical for stable gear carry and when giving a little boost with the low-profile handle. All in all, the Switchbak melds comfort and convenience into a performance harness ready for both town and trail.

    Great Harness

    Great Harness that fits well. Secures nicely and good quality. Really like the reflective material for evening walks. Went on a 4.5 mile hike recently and it resisted abrasions and the pup seemed comfortable as if the Harness wasn't there. Excellent product like the rest.

    This is his second one!

    We love this harness so much, we bought a second one for Nelson in this beautiful red color (to match his sister's). The two biggest reasons why I love it? 1. It has a handle so I can quick grab him if we see a moose or he needs help in any way. 2. It has pockets and combined with a smellproof bag, he can carry his own poop (as well as the poop bags) on our hikes. We leave no trace and everyone is happy, especially "mom".

    I'm So Glad I Snagged this Before it was Discontinued!

    I was looking for a harness with small pouches to carry a few accessories like my dog's boots or a waste bag of dog business (#2) on a hike so I did not need to hold it the whole way back to the car. This harness is incredible! The side pouches are small enough to make the harness look like a harness and not a hiking pack for dogs, but versatile enough in size that if I am lacking pockets in my outfit, my dog could definably carry some of my essentials also! Ruffwear knocks it out or the park again with yet another thoughtfully designed piece of gear meant to me used by active dogs!!

    Perfect!

    Me and my dog took on our first 30 mile 3 day hike. And I had my wonders on how his new pack would fair but it was absolutely amazing he hardly if at all noticed it on his back!

    I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYTHING BY OR FROM RUFFWEAR! ( AT QUALITY )
