The Beacon™ is a high-performance safety dog light to help keep dogs visible in low-light conditions or inclement weather. The Beacon is durable and waterproof, with an easy-to-use Quick Clip™ that attaches to Ruffwear apparel, harnesses, collars, and other gear. The Beacon is rechargeable, with indicator lights to let you know when it’s charging or the battery is low. Easily cycle through three LED color options and three light modes for maximum visibility on your adventure. The Beacon is visible from all directions with a bright, full-body glow design.

Waterproof

The Beacon is waterproof to a depth of 1m of water for 30 minutes.

Rechargeable

280mAh LiPo battery is charged with the included standard micro USB cable. Charge time is approximately 1.5hrs.

Three Colors/Modes

Three highly visible colors, three modes, and an operating time up to 20hrs.

    Beacon Dog Light is great

    I had a Bacon dog light for years for one of my dogs. I recued a dog a few years ago and bought a Nite Ize rechargeable light for her. It quit working after about 3 months. It would not charge and/or turn on so REI

    replaced it. It happened again after about 6 months. I finally ordered the beacon dog light from Ruffwear for her.

    I do wish REI would sell the Ruffwear Beacon lights again just so I could tell people they could get it there or order directly from Ruffwear.

    Large bird repellant and Corgi disco club gear

    Put this flashing beacon on my Corg to keep the predators thinking twice! Works awesome. Lots of color and flash options for walking town at night. You gotta blend in with the club lights you know.

    Sheepdog Approved!

    My OES loves this light so much he ate the last one. For me, the clipping mechanism is well designed and strong. There is an option to hang the light along with tags on a collar. I have a light on his harness and raincoat as well. Very bright but won't hurt the eyes in complete darkness. Resilient and waterproof. The Beacon is "top drawer"!
