The Beacon™ Dog Safety Light

This makes walking at night easier which is especially helpful in the winter.

Love that I can see the dogs in the dark now.

We love our RuffWear harness but when the days started to get shorter, we knew we needed something to elevate our mini schnauzer’s safety. This light is solid and well made; it holds a charge for quite some time. Being able to recharge it versus having to replace batteries (or worse, discard and repurchase) is also a huge win.

I give it a 10. Because the beacon trademark light I hook it on my Guide Dog harness. And I have it blinking for the red light. Because on Wednesdays when me and my Guide dog leaves our house at six in the morning it is still dark outside so that beacon safety light definitely helps frisco to be seen at night, where there’s no street lights. And on the backpack clipped to the zipper I have the Yahweh light that only blinks one color and I put that on the backpack so I could be seen from behind.

The light does not bother my Guide dog. Because we use it both for traveling in the morning when it’s dark and in the evening when it’s dark when we travel by city bus to go to our next destination.

Also, the light helps me because I’m not just blind. I’m also DEAFSO having a guide a dog and safety lights help so much for both of us to be safe and not get hit again by a car.

Works so well to help me identify where my pups are as the sun goes down earlier in the day after daylight savings ended.

I give each pup a different color so from a distance when we are wandering around at our fav multi-acre Sniff Spot that's fenced in, I know exactly where they are. And, when they do potty breaks at night, it helps illuminate their path - though, sometimes the shadows they cast freak our my more anxious boi a little :)
