The Beacon™ Dog Safety Light

This beacon is the best. Easy to spot and doesn’t get in the way.

We love the Beacon light for our two GSP‘s! Best feature is that it’s rechargeable and the charge lasts a long time. The three different color option is also a nice feature when you have multiple dogs off leash in the dark. We prefer to attach the light flat to the collar but need an extra metal ring to secure it and not just attach it with the clip. We’ve lost it when we’ve left it dangling, getting caught on brush. We’ve used this light for several years. We have had some issues (like not turning on or plastic breaking etc) but customer service has been terrific, always replacing the lights at no cost to us.

I already had purchased one of these lights about 5 years back for my lab living in the northern woods of WI.

The dog passed away and I gave it to a friend who had just lost their light and in a way my dog lived on. One year plus later I have rescued another lab and needed another light. Like the ability to switch between colors and each having a flash option also. Sometimes different situations in lighting call for a different color to show up or when walking it gets attention of cars. No problem battery life, it wasn’t tested with too much water but never had a moisture problem with it. Only wish with the new one was that a USB-C was an update for the charging point. I’ve recommended more than a few to friends.

This little light is terrific for so many reasons; it’s bright, easy to use, and best of all… its low profile. I have a beagle who loves to explore the bushes and shrubs for rabbits. So I got him this light and it hasn’t snagged or caught on anything. It perfect for all my needs.

The only thing I’d change is the charging port. I’d prefer a USB-C over the micro usb.

I haven't been using it for a ton of time but the light appears to work great. I like having three different color options. It can clip onto the leash as well as on a D-ring which is nice. Excited to get the dogs out and be able to track their whereabouts at night!
