Sparky’s New Coat
My Fur Son, Sparky, needed a larger puffy coat for this Winter in the NC mountains. Having already used a smaller Quinzee it was the obvious choice. All of the Ruffwear products are built to last, great quality & design. Many thanks! Pope
Quinzee Jacket for my Jack Russell
I bought this jacket because it allowed me to put the harness (also from Ruffwear) underneath and due to the provided opening in this jacket allowed the attachment of the leash. What I do not like about this jacket is how difficult it is to put on. The click-closures are hidden, and one needs to put one end through a small loop, and blindly lock the closure. This is almost impossible without getting some of the fabric in-between. My dog stands still and allows me to play around with it until I finally get it but if he would be jumpier it would be sheer impossible to get on. Once it is on, it simply does not sit very well, especially in the back. It's more like a cape and does not provide much warmth in this area. Now the problem might be my dog's curly tail because the moment he sniffs the ground the tail goes underneath the jacket. The overall quality of the jacket is great but there are several things that could be improved, especially for this price.
Great Jacket for my Chihuahua Terrier Mix
I really like this jacket for my fur baby. He has odd proportions and is a little bit longer, so it does not cover his entire back. However, I think that this keeps him warm on our cold Minnesota winter days. It is easy to put on, and I love that there is a hole on the back for the harness to clip through. The bright purple also makes him conspicuous in the snow.
Nice and Warm for our Boys
We live in the mountains where we get a lot of snow. Our 2 little guys actually wait for us to put their coats on them before going outside. The only problematic item is the female buckle sewn into the back of the coat has a very short attachment and is rather difficult to get ahold of to snap. Just takes a little extra time and patience.
It keeps my service dog warm in negative tempitures and is easy to take on and off when need. My dog loves wearing is Quinzee jacket!
