The Overcoat is the classic cold-weather utility jacket, built with sturdy, burly materials to keep up with even the most active dog diving through brush and brambles. The wind- and water-resistant outer fabric sheds light moisture, while the interior recycled polyester fleece lining adds cozy warmth. Side-release buckles on both sides provide easy on/off, and a leash portal allows the Overcoat to be worn over all Ruffwear harnesses (and most other harnesses).

    Perfect. Why discontinue ?!!

    I've had this jacket for three years and it still looks like new. It fits my deep chested, athletic border collie type dog well. It provides good protection from harsh weather without overheating the dog. Good freedom of movement. The coat stays in place. Fabric remains flexible in extreme cold and is quiet. Good for layering with a fleece on the days that more insulation is required. I can't think of anything that could make this jacket better!
