Weimaraner Fit

I have a weimaraner and had to order different sizes for his front and back paws. The front ones are 2.75" and fit great. Originally I ordered 2.25" for his back paws and they were a little too small so I exchanged them for 2.50" which fit better, but still not as well as the front. I don't think they are too small because the 2.75" ones seem too big when we put them on his back paws. Rather, I think the with the way the boots are cut and how he walks on his back paws, the boots just don't go up high enough and it looks like they may come off when he is walking.

Rocky rocks his boots

I really like the product the rear ones work great but the front ones slide down a little I'm a little afraid of over tightening on his dewclaws

Overall good fit and function.

These are easy to put on and after numerous measurements I think I have the correct size. They stay on my dog well and he adjusted once he realized the boots were associated with going on walks. The main issue is they cause a sore in between his dewclaw and the side of the paw (i.e. the dewclaw rubs on the side of his foot so any other layers won't help). We use them for short walks when there is a lot of ice and snow. Will have to see if they continue to cause a pressure sore between the dewclaw which would prevent usage on longer walks. The grip is perfect though.

The best dog shoes.

I tried before some cheaper versions from Amazon. They did not fit even if the measurements were right. They were either too small or to big. When I got a Grip Trex Shoes (smaller for the hind paws and bigger for the front paws" I screamed "Halleluja". I also bought liners. The shoes fit perfectly, they stay on. The shoes for hind paws turned around one time when he got excited. It happend because I put the tape a little too loose. So, be sure put them tight enough. The Grip Trex are worth every penny I spent.
