The Ruffwear Grip Trex dog boots set the standard in paw wear for dogs who hike, bike, run, or explore the great outdoors with their humans.

These high-performance boots feature a rugged and resilient Ruffwear-designed Vibram outsole that provides exceptional traction on varied terrain. Breathable mesh upper provides ventilation and keeps dirt and debris out. Closure system combines hook-and-loop with hardware, cinching around the narrowest part of the dog’s leg to provide a secure fit.

Just as you would with your gear, check closure system and adjust fit as needed 15 minutes into your activity and throughout the adventure.

Best boots, these stay on

We tried at least four types of boots, this style straps high enough that it stayed on. Tested in deep snow in Colorado, this style won. Thanks!!

Good but not Great

I had issues with one shoe staying on even after alternating which foot it was placed on. Overall experience was good but was a little worrisome trying to keep up with the one shoe that came off occasionally.

Great boots but bit rigid

Great boots however they are bit rigid and seem like they need broke in before they will be real comfortable. Material and stitching seem strong. My service dog wears them with the socks and they stay on very well.

Lab MTB Booties

I've used the booties three times so far on my 10 month old lab mainly for MTB. He's a lab so he doesn't complain much. They look great and I've received several compliments from other dog walkers on the trail here in Marin County, CA. My only complaint is that his front dew claws are shredded red and sore after each ride. Also, I noticed one boot is starting to tear after last weeks ride. I plan to purchase the inserts to prevent the dew claw issue. Hoping the boots last long enough to give a full review.

Happy dog!

They were an aswer to prayer. My dog has always loved the snow and cold, but she has developed an issue with her paws that makes the cold very uncomfortable for her. She did a bizaar little dance when I first put the Trex on her, but she quickly adapted to them and loved being able to enjoy being outdoors in the cold again. They are easy to get them on and off of her.
