The Switchbak Harness has the padded comfort of an everyday dog harness with handle, plus the bonus functionality carrying small essentials. The two low-profile zippered pockets have room to stash those day-to-day necessities like pick-up bags, a leash, or some treats.

It features two leash attachment options: a V-ring centered on the back and a reinforced webbing loop at the chest, great for redirecting dogs that pull on leash. Dial in the right fit with high adjustability and a padded belly strap - critical for stable gear carry and when giving a little boost with the low-profile handle. All in all, the Switchbak melds comfort and convenience into a performance harness ready for both town and trail.

    Sad it's a discontinued style

    This harness is great. It is more coverage than the front range ruffware harness my dog had for many years. I tried it out when I got it and I can pick up my 80 lb dog with the handle. Granted, I wouldn't lift her up totally again with this but I know a strong handle to help pull her up is essential in some of the rocky and slippery places we have hiked. I had to be sure it would hold.

    Love the pockets and color. Love/hate the style of the underbelly. It isn't as full coverage on the belly which is nice because I live in a hot area and this might allow more full year coverage. I dislike this because it will offer less sticker protection for my poodle mix's hair.

    Great fit

    This harness fits great!! It's snug enough that it remains in place as our dog walks, runs, or plays but it also doesn't give her any discomfort or sores from extended use. The handle makes it easy to lift her up if necessary and the multiple points of connection for our leash works out great.

    Loving it so far

    I ordered the medium for my 50 lb pittie mix. It fits her great and she likes wearing it. I love the pockets. This is great for going out on adventures.
