Answer the call of the open road with your No. 1 canine co-pilot and the Load Up Harness - a crash tested dog harness designed to travel to and from adventures. Built with strength-rated hardware and components, the Load Up Harness has been designed to be easy to put on, comfortable over long hauls, and able to withstand the rigors of a vehicle crash.

The universal seat belt loop attaches to existing seat belts and allows dogs to stand, sit, and sleep as they please while keeping them secure during sudden vehicle movements. The Load Up is easy to put on and adjust, and it can be left on dogs for quick bathroom breaks and rest stops.

    So far, so good

    Got this for one of our 4 dogs that rides in the front seat. It does give some level of comfort. Our old guy hates wearing anything on his body, but he doesn't seem to mind this as he gets to go in the car, visit the cows and get a snack.

    Adjustment and fitting was pretty quick and easy. Product seems well made. Strong straps, nicely padded and, the reason I went with this brand, it seems to have a wider chest area and it has metal clips. The other safety tested car harness has plastic clips.

    Overall, so far happy with this purchase. Hopefully we'll never have to really test it out.

    Driving my doggo in safety is a blast

    This harness gives me peace of mind when my dogs ride with me. I foster dogs who are in training for service and must keep them safe. Along with the dirtbag seat cover, we are set for our adventures!

    Very secure, great harness!

    The metal buckles are very secure, chest pad is a great size, and fit is accurate to the front range harness. Very few harness brands go through the testing process, that’s what really sold me on this! This is our 3rd harness from RuffWear and I couldn’t recommend it more!

    Comfortable for my pup.

    The Load Up Harness works great. It is easy to put on my dog, and even easier to get off. It keeps him contained in the back seat, but still gives him the freedom to stand, sit, lay and move around. He seems comfortable wearing it, even walking around in it when we go to the dog park. Really great design, thanks Ruffwear!
