    Fits well with harness

This fits well on his harness. He hasn't had to fully utilize it in the woods yet, but it seems to be comfortable on him. He's a bird dog and is constantly tearing up his underbelly so I'm hoping this makes a difference.

    Remember to loosen the harness

The brush guard is great and very useful with the webmaster harness we've currently got. It helps distribute the pressure a little more evenly when lifting with the back handle as we have to do VERY often to stop her chasing squirrels and rabbits as well as a great way to move her out of the way of glass on the g mound or rough terrain

BUT I now have an angry puppy because after attaching the brush guard, her harness would no longer clip, and I, thinking that maybe she put on weight since last using the webmaster, thought I was making a good responsible decision by putting her on a diet. She is angry and hungry. I won't ever be forgiven. Learn from my mistake and just check the fit before and after and then adjust as needed.

    Great harness accessory

Bought a replacement brush guard for our 8 year old harness, not because it went bad but because these harnesses will last forever and I never want to be without it. We have an almost 10 year old three legged pittie and this harness and brush guard are LIFE SAVERS. It allows us to help along and pick him up when he needs a boost or gets too tired. Never want to be with it.

    Great guard

I take my border when I go out into the fields to photograph flowers and birds. He used to come back scratched up. No more!

If I were Tripawd, I’d want one of these in my life!

Our dog Maggie is a recent amputee. Our local Ruffwear dealer recommended the Brush Guard to help give her more support, especially if I have to lift her, or assist her when she tires. and it protects her chest from abrasions. Recommended by TRIPAWDS.COM
