One of my favorite leashes for trail walking or hiking! The dog can walk away from me and the bungee makes it so they don’t yank. The traffic handle is my favorite because you can pass in tight quarters!

This leash is excellent for road and trail running with our dogs, hiking, and everyday walks. The clip is quick to attach to a collar or harness and is secure. The leash can be used traditionally by holding the waist loop in hand, and the option to "wear" the leash around the waist is helpful for having hands free to attend to other matters (trekking poles, another pet, a child, a beverage, etc). The grab handle closer to the clip is well-placed and useful for quickly getting a close and secure grip on our dog when a situation necessitates. The bungee section has an effective amount of stretch and recoil, particularly useful on uneven terrain.

The Roamer Bungee Dog Leash is very easy to put on your dog's harness with gloved hands thanks to the special design of the clip. My dog is a confident and fast walker so may pull on the leash. The Bungee takes out the sudden jerks that will occur with a static line. This is especially helpful on icy ground.
