For dogs who find their flow in the water, the Confluence™ Life Jacket blends the streamlined fit and mobility of a harness with the buoyancy of a life vest, giving dogs the comfort, confidence, and freedom to explore in and around water.

Strategically placed foam panels create optimal buoyancy to support a natural swimming position. The strong low-profile handle makes for easy and balanced assisting back on board, with a stealthy second rear handle for an extra lift when needed.

Webbing is water stable, holding its shape and not stretching out when wet, maintaining a secure fit across the six points of adjustment. Clip in to the reinforced tow loop as a leash attachment point when needed. Reflective trim boosts visibility in low light conditions, and a dedicated light loop for The Beacon™ when adventure stretches past sundown.

    A perfect fit!

    This is just what I needed for my active dog. I got the same size as her other Ruffwear gear and it was a great fit - medium for my long, lean 76 lb dog. The floatation of the vest kept her safe jumping in and out of the boat for hours of swimming in the river current and the harness style fit was comfortable enough that she could nap in the boat between laps without removing the gear. The handles were also useful while helping her back into the boat throughout the afternoon.

    Love the Confluence Life Jacket

    Very happy with the life jacket. Two handles are wonderful and such a smart design on the back envelope handle. It’s completely secure with the three straps, there’s no slipping out of this harness. Our 70 lb lab seems very comfortable in it. The Life Jacket is replacing an older well used Life Jacket (another brand). I can tell the Confluence is not absorbing much water, based on the weight of it when completely wet, especially compared to the old harness being replaced.

    Great fit!

    Happy dog in the water!

    I replaced my dog's old life jacket with the Ruffwear Confluence, and we're loving it. She swims with much more confidence now and can go a lot longer, plus it holds her head up better so she's not accidentally sucking in water as much. (When she chokes on water, it puts an end to the swimming for a little while until she catches her breath. This Confluence has really helped her avoid that.) She can run around comfortably on land while still wearing the life jacket, even rolling in the grass with it. At first I thought the part around her neck was too wide even though I followed the measurement chart, but now after using it for a couple of months, I think it is just right. Any more snug and I wouldn't be able to pull it off over her regular collar. She's a very happy girl, and she's eager to swim almost every day now thanks to this life jacket. She's almost 10 years old, so it's a great low-impact exercise. I'm very pleased with this purchase!
