The Crag EX™ Leash is an adjustable dog leash that can be used hand-held or hands-free. Fully extend to 6 feet (1.8 m) for relaxed walks or more room while running and hiking, or shorten to 3.5 feet (1 m) when looking to keep your pup close. The metal slider makes it easy to adjust length on the go.

The side-release buckle on the handle is easy to use and reinforced with an aluminum uniloop for exceptional strength, adjusting easily when wearing around the waist. Ruffwear’s unique Talon Clip™ offers a strong and secure connection to your dog.

It includes Ruffwear's signature leash features like a padded handle, an accessory loop for pick-up bags or small attachable leash accessories, and strong webbing that holds its color so it can be your favorite leash for years to come. Integrated reflectivity helps boost visibility for dogs and humans getting out in low-light conditions.

    Loving the leash and collar

    We are so thrilled with the new collar and leash from Ruffwear. My daughter has some product made by Ruffwear and really swears by it for her 2 dogs so we gave it a try.

    It looks great, handles really well, and all the hardware seems very durable.

    Favourite leash ever

    I've used many different leashes with my dog and this has been the winner so far, hands down. It's my go-to leash for everyday walks as I can go hands free with the clip around my waist. Great for running, holding things in your hands at farmers markets, standing around a fire with a drink in your hand, looking casual on walks without fighting with your dog's leash. Cons- buckles are not the strongest and I've had two break on me from my dog lunging at squirrels while attached. Pros- the warranty for Ruffwear is unmatched, replacing the leash both times this has happened in quick manner. They also have the most fun patterns and the leash material itself is great quality!

    Versatile, durable, easy to use.

    This is our second of this exact leash. Last one would have probably lasted forever if it weren’t for some sharp puppy teeth and a lack of supervision for 30 seconds. The adjustability is nice for hiking or running and the clip at the handle means you can wear it around your waist or adjust to fit around an object if you need to tether your dog at camp, office, etc.
