    This is definitely a pricy life jacket, but it seems very well-made. I only wish there were some kind of safety standard for dog life jackets as there are for human ones. I have a ~50 lb, fairly fit Australian cattle dog mix who is pretty much always a medium in everything. I got the medium orange (more of a yellow orange) and it fits perfectly. My girl looks great in the color and I love the contrasting turquoise straps. We went paddle boarding this weekend, and she jumped/slipped of the board a couple times. She usually avoids any situation where she has to swim, so I feel like it definitely gave her confidence.
