The Front Range Day Pack incorporates Ruffwear's signature radial cut saddlebags with the customer-favorite Front Range® Harness platform, making it an everyday pack staple in any dog's gear closet. Dogs can help shoulder the load thanks to the integrated padded harness and belly strap that adjust for exceptional fit and pack stability.

The saddlebag geometry creates a passive compression system that is formfitting and supports efficient load carrying. There are three leash attachment options: a V-ring and a tow loop on the back, and a reinforced webbing loop on the chest – great for redirecting dogs that pull when on leash.

With plenty of internal organization and trail-minded details, this comfortable day pack equips dogs to carry the day's provisions on hikes and frontcountry pursuits.

Highly Recommend! Great Quality! Accurate Size Chart!
I bought the front range day pack for a 5 day backpacking trip and was able to fit all of my dogs food in it . She’s a slender 45-50lb mixed breed with a 25.5 in girth and the small fits perfectly with room to adjust up or down still. Quality is very good. Loved having a sturdy harness to hook into during dangerous parts of the hike to keep her safe. As she ate her food down I had room for her to carry her own water in it as well. I carry her sleeping bag and she sleeps on my ground pad at my feet. Goes without saying you have to pack it evenly for the pack to ride even. She is also a very energetic dog and even with her frolicking around the pack stayed in tact. Also didn’t have any issues with the pack rubbing/hot spots. It’s not big enough to put a 1 lb. dog sleeping bag in…maybe one of their larger packs could accomodate that. Highly Recommend!

Perfect for Adventures
We love the Front Range Harness so this was an easy choice when we went looking for a backpack. The fit is perfect and easily adjustable in multiple places. I love the extra strap around the belly to keep it secure. The pockets have more than enough room for his gear and a bag of snacks. And boy does he look handsome in it!
