Reviews Summary
Customers say this leash features a comfortable padded handle and secure locking clip that many find reliable. The lightweight design includes a practical traffic handle near the collar for added control. While most appreciate its durability and ease of use, some note the material is thinner than expected. Many enjoy the color options and matching accessories. The leash receives praise for its swivel clip mechanism and comfortable grip during walks. Some mention it's shorter than standard leashes, though this suits many users' needs. Regular walkers appreciate the thoughtful design elements, including the extra control handle and padded grip.

    Safety Lock is a Lifesaver

After my dog broke off of her leash more than a few times, it became scary to take her for walks. I was telling my mom how I wish there was a leash that locked, and then searched the web thinking such a feature had to exist. I’m so glad to have stumbled across Ruffwear. The leash does in fact lock and no matter how I twist and turn it, the lock stays secure. Walks are less stressful knowing that even if she pulls out of her harness, the backup clip on her collar and the secured leash will keep her with me.

    Stands up to chewing

My 6-month-old land shark wants nothing more in life than to chew his lease. And his harness. And his bed. It’s been a few weeks, and cumulative hours of chomps, and this leash has just one notch bitten into it. If you, too, have a leash-predator, this one has real potential.

    Great workmanship.

Very happy with the collar and leash. Love the fact that when Luna wears the collar and shakes her head, there is no rattle from the tag hitting the martingale. Very well-made collar and leash.
