It may be short, but the list of ways to use the Front Range™ Short Leash is long. Whether you’re navigating crowded areas, making a quick transition from the car to the trail head before heading off-leash, or working on some training, this traffic leash packs big function into a small package.

It features a lightly-padded handle and Ruffwear's unique lockable Crux Clip™ hardware for a comfortable and confident connection. When off-leash, tri-fold the webbing into the elastic keeper strap for easy stowing. For dogs and humans needing to stick close together, it’s a surprisingly useful add to your leash quiver.

WHAT’S NEW: Webbing now includes recycled content for a reduced impact on the planet.

    I walk a lot of leash free dogs…. And these I have attached to a caribeener at my waist so I can quicker leash and control dogs if necessary.

    Short leash

    I am very happy with this short leash. I purchased 2 for my standard poodles. I like my dogs to heal properly at my side, so I would bunch up a regular size leash. I needed to purchase new leads so these are perfect for how I walk my dog. When I release the dogs in the off leash park, I clip the leashes to my bag for easy accessibility.

    Love It

    I love it. It's something I can just grab and clip on to move the dogs from one spot to another without having to deal with a big long leash. I find it very handy. My only suggestion is more colors of course.
