Ratings & Reviews
Lili is a forward tripawd, so her front foot must stand up to an unusual amount of wear and tear as Lili is still throwing all her weight onto it -slow walking& making hard stops- and we spend most of our time in the city on concrete! (For play time, check the sock review.) From day one she loves her Grip Trex! It changes the way she walks, so it's much better fit to protect her foot outside. Inside the house she prefers to slide into a laying position, etc. This shoe grips the carpet, the wet tile, and any other surface. I'm very impressed! Her foot is huge and her ankle is so tiny, but this boot still fits perfectly and is a breeze to put on after her sock is in place. (I apply both while she's in a belly-rub position.) It stays in place (we're up to 30 min weartime) and she doesn't even remind me to take it off when we get home, so it must be comfortable! P.S. Her front foot & rear feet are completely different sizes; thank you for selling a pair vs her having 4 shoes for 1 foot! Very much appreciated!
Protecting Pup's Paws
We live on a rocky beach on Long Island Sound which or pup loves but the rocks were tearing up his paws. We tried many boots on the market but these were the first that stayed on. We bought a larger size for the front paws and a smaller size for the back paws. This worked very well. Happy pup, happy Mom.
Won't stay on
I want to love them...but they will not stay on dogs feet despite being dangerously tightened as a tourniquet. Feet measured 2 1/4 "...I ordered 2", flew off immediately...I have tried 1.75" boots and they will not stay on either....makes me very sad.
Great for my Service Dog
I got the Grip Tex for my Service Dog in Training and he loves them. We've never had any issues and he stopped waddling soon after wearing them. They fit perfectly and help protect his paws when we're walking on pavement.
