The Grip Trex dog boots set the standard in paw wear for dogs who hike, bike, run, or explore the great outdoors with their humans.

With the Grip Trex, those paws can go the distance thanks to the rugged and resilient Ruffwear-designed Vibram outsole with exceptional traction and protection on varied terrain. Breathable mesh upper provides ventilation, and the closure system combines hook-and-loop with hardware, cinching around the narrowest part of the dog’s leg to provide a secure fit.

Set of TWO boots. Many dogs have wider front paws than rear paws. We offer our boots in sets of two so you can order the appropriate sizes for a good fit on both the front and rear paws.

    Maybe the best out there.

    I don't prefer my dog to wear boots, the terrain and circumstances call for it I'm glad I have these. I've had dog boots before as well as socks and these are far better. I love the way that you can really dial in the fit with nearly exact foot measurements. That really helps and to be able to move naturally. I don't know if there is anything that can be improved on. Like I said, these are probably the best out there.

    Ruffwear boots and harness

    We live in Colorado and have extremes of weather; from over 100 degrees in summer, down to 10 in winter. Ara, my female Standard Poodle joins me for a 5 mile bike ride every morning, and since she sleeps on my bed at night the dog boots are an essential tool to eliminate the numerous chemical used outdoors, especially pesticides used on lawns. The harness is also a valuable asset; especially when she sees a cat, and can easily run 35+ MPH in pursuit.

    Life changing for our Boxer!

    We purchased these boots because our 11 year old Boxer is suffering from Degenerative Myelopathy. Since she was having trouble with slipping even on carpet, we tried many things to help with this. We tried socks and stick on pads, but none of these would stay on correctly because she refuses to stop playing and being active. Our Charolette is also having bad 'knuckling' issues. These boots not only gave her superb traction, it stopped her 'knuckling' and damaging her feet. Plus, these actually stay on! Thank you Ruffwear!

    Fantastic for my DM boy! Great quality and stay on very well

    I got these for my German Shepherd that has DM. He drags his back paws and needs protection. These boots are GREAT! The sole (which we put on upside down due to his condition ;-) is really protective, and most importantly they stay on!! I highly recommend the Grip Tex boots

    Good, sturdy boots

    I'd say each boot is good for about 250-300 miles on the rear feet on harsh ground (think sandstone, sharp rubble and asphalt). Boots worn on the front tend not to wear out as quickly so I recommend rotating worn boots from the rear feet to the front feet to get a little extra use out of them (if you can, not all dog foot sizes will allow this).

    These boots have all worn through on the middle of the sole, not at the seams. No problems with stitching or other parts breaking lose.

    All in all these are very well put together, sturdy boots. They don't fray or fall apart prematurely
