Hi & Light™ Lightweight Dog Harness

I ordered this large-size harness for my Pointer mix, and the medium-size of the same model for my field springer spaniel. I measured carefully as per the video instructions on the Ruffwear site, and I followed the advice to order the next size up for dogs who were on the cusp. That advice was perfect -- after I adjusted the harnesses on the dogs as the site demonstrated, the fit was perfect for both dogs. What I was seeking were light, simple to put on and off harnesses for summer use, and that is exactly what these are. I can tell by my dogs' behaviour that the fit is "like a glove" -- very comfortable, and there are no spots that are chafing against their bodies even after they've been running and swimming for a long time. In the past one of my dogs used to get some painful chafing areas under her front legs where they join her body if she wore the harness wet. This harness does not cause that, at least not for my dog, but it's always good to keep an eye out for that just in case it happens to your dog. These Hi and Light harnesses dry quickly, too. The seams are really secure and the piece is made to last. Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend.
