The Ridgeline™ Harness represents the pinnacle of performance for dogs and humans who demand the most from their gear.

With its industry-first, expedition-grade material selection and precision construction, no detail has been spared. The lightweight and strong X-Pac® laminate shell provides superior weather, dirt, and abrasion resistance. Lightweight and strong webbing straps are built with integrated reflective thread for 360° of visibility. Four Fidlock® magnetic self-aligning buckles are easily secured and released, even with gloves. This harness features a handle, six points of adjustment, a load-dispersing chest and belly panel, three leash attachment points for multiple ways to connect with your canine companion, as well as a light loop for attaching The Beacon™.

Pair with the Ridgeline™ Leash, Ridgeline™ Collar, and Ridgeline™ Shoes, for the complete high-performance canine gear system.

The best clips!
At first I was worried that Ridgeline wouldn't be worth the higher cost but I love this harness. The magnet clips are so cool. They are easier and faster than traditional plastic ones. I also love how sturdy and secure the harness is. I have a large male dog who is very reactive to bikes and other distractions on leash. He can't accidentally pull backwards out of this harness. The strap along the back makes it easier to grab him and keep him next to me while we wait for other dogs or bikers to pass by on a narrow trail. Sturdy and well designed. Highly recommend

Ridgeline Harness
I own a beagle who needs a very special harness because beagles have a very unique shape. Her body is long her just as big, but her stomach is narrow, and Ridgeline harnesses are the only ones that fit beagles comfortably, and keep them from escaping. My girl loves her harness and when I hold it up, she gets all excited. She can’t wait to get it on. She knows that with her harness she’s going on another adventure with her beagle Cousin.

Excellent compromis entre mobilité et maintien
Utilisé sur une Mini Berger Australien d’environ 16 kg pour randonnée, longues marches et sorties actives.
Le harnais est nettement plus souple et ergonomique que le Web Master tout en gardant une très bonne stabilité. Une fois correctement ajusté, il bouge peu et semble confortable même après plus d’une heure d’utilisation continue.
Points forts :
Très bonne liberté de mouvement
Léger et moins rigide que le Web Master
Bonne répartition des appuis
Ajustements précis
Poignée discrète mais utile
Construction sérieuse et matériaux de qualité
Le fit est important : prendre le temps de régler les sangles avant et latérales fait une grosse différence sur la stabilité.
Pour un chien actif en randonnée ou aventure outdoor, c’est probablement un des harnais Ruffwear les plus aboutis actuellement si on cherche mobilité + maintien sans tomber dans quelque chose de trop massif.
