The Roamer™ is an adjustable stretch-webbing running dog leash that can be hand-held or worn around the waist for a dynamic hands-free leash experience. Wavelength™ stretch webbing keeps humans and canines connected while allowing an extended range for roaming and exploring.

The side-release buckle on the handle is easy to use and reinforced with an aluminum uniloop for exceptional strength, adjusting easily when wearing around the waist. Ruffwear’s unique Talon Clip™ offers a strong and secure connection to your dog.

It includes Ruffwear's signature leash features like a padded handle, an accessory loop for pick-up bags or small attachable leash accessories, and strong webbing that holds its color so it can be your favorite leash for years to come. Waist adjusts up to 48 in (122 cm).

    Excellent product, with excellent features, in spite of the odd behaviors.

    This is the second Ruffwear Roamer Leash that I have purchased. The first one lasted several years. Both leashes have the same peculiar alignment issue. In my experience, these leashes tend to veer off of established trails. The leashes seem interested in following game trails, but are just as likely to lead you off trail into the forest or desert. They seem to be drawn to rabbits, lizards, deer, coyotes, chipmunks, quail... The bungee feature helps the leash to know when it's moving too fast. It can also help to keep your shoulder intact under extreme conditions. The ability to clip the leash handle around a tree branch, or a friend's ankle, keeps the leash from wandering off if you need to use both hands for something else. If you have a curious, adventurous nature, then a Ruffwear Roamer Leash is probably a good choice for you. Maybe all roads lead to Rome, but this Roamer may lead you away from all roads.

    Awesome Leash!

    I love this leash for trail running. And I love Ruff Wear! My dog is spoiled and has multiple harnesses and leashes, and when she broke a leash clip, Ruff Wear sent me a new leash. I reached out to ask if I could buy a replacement clip, but they said it was difficult to replace, so they sent me a whole new leash! I will only buy from Ruff Wear now! Do you cover rats? Haha! I had one chew through my hip pack! 😂 🐾

    Good quality leash

    This leash is very comfortable to use. It is sturdy and well made and I love the bungee portion which softens the impact of any sudden pulling. The padded handle is very nice and the color is bright and fun.
