Best leash attachment I've used
I have 2 of these stash bags. One keeps permanent residence on my dog's leash filled with **** bags. The other I attach when we travel to hold items that I need. The bag attaches easily to any leash. The construction is solid with a stouter than expected zipper. The bag looks pretty good and looks like it belongs on a leash. There is a mesh pocket inside and outside the bag. The outside pocket comes in handy for the occasional unused **** bag as well as making a good place to stash a hotel card key when making a quick walk with the dog. There is a clip inside the bag that can keep a key safe. I clip my Ruffwear safety light into the bag so I always have it on hand. There is a slot in the back of the bag for dispensing **** bags which is pretty handy. The only problem with it is that it is hard to get a bag threaded through the slot and putting a new bag in the pocket next to the slot with my fat fingers requires me to remove most of the contents to get the roll of bags into the pocket. Most of the time I just unzip the bag and grab the roll. If there was a way to install the new roll from the outside of the bag maybe through a velcro flap it would be easier to use. I have an orange and a gray bag. The orange bag does tend to show dirt pretty quick but I just toss it in the washing maching now and again and it cleans up nice. Overall this is a good bag at a fair price. It also signals to the world that your a responsible dog handler making sure you have **** bags to pick up after your dog!
Does the job
**** bags, keys, I'd, a few bucks. The pups and I can head to the local watering hole after a day out hiking, riding, running and this thing stashed all you need. A little tricky loading **** bag rolls until you figure out the technique, then you're set.
Holds 2 rolls of bags, and still room for keys, phone or any items you need handy.
Great Idea that needs some practical refinement.
I enjoy having a moderately convenient pouch that I can put a roll of **** bags in. Unfortunately, the slit to weave the bags through is behind elastic fabric and it's a pain in the tukus to feed through. Maybe modify the design for a separate pouch on the bottom with a elastic closed feed opening. You could stretch it around a full roll and just pull out the end of the roll. The 'upper' zippered compartment could store treats/ball/etc. (Maybe make it a sq. in. or 2 larger.)
Holds my keys for a run AND 3 extra bag rolls so I am never in a bind when I forget to reload!
