Trail Runner™ Running Belt

hands-free running hip belt

Color

Selected: Blue Pool

The Trail Runner™ Belt enhances miles on the trail by providing a hip belt and leash system for running with your dog on-leash and hands-free while comfortably carrying the essentials. The lay-flat design with light padding and stretch storage means a comfortable, bounce-free running experience when carrying your phone, keys, pick-up bags, and soft flask (not included) in the two zippered pockets.

The separate leash attachment strap is compatible with most leashes: unclip the side-release buckle, thread the strap through the handle of your leash, and clip back in.

The Trail Runner™ Leash (not included) is our favorite leash to pair with this belt. It’s a dynamic, shock-absorbing design and the optimal length for running, making the Trail Runner™ Running Belt and Leash the system that’ll have both you and your dog excited for your next run.

What's New: A complete redesign of our 1st generation running belt for a minimal, layflat design appreciated by runners for its comfortable and bounce-free fit.

My favorite running with dog belt ever!

This is a must have! I love everything about this belt. It's incredibly lightweight (feels like it's part of your clothing), love the mesh back, it's the perfect size for my needs (keys, phone, treats, poop bags, collapsable water bowl (ruffwear) and small squishy water carrier. I also purchased the Ruffwear trail running shock absorbing leash -- I love the shock absorbing leashes so much ! This is lighter weight (slightly thinner) than the walking leashes which is perfect for running on the trails! The length works but I think I would also like perhaps 6 in longer. Definitely a must have!!

    Nice Belt

Was really pleased with this option to walk my dog. Give him a little lead and help with my carpal tunnel syndrome wrist. As I’m recovering, the belt, gives the puppy a lot of room to move. Looking forward to using it often.

    This belt is a revelation

I use the Trail Runner belt as a disability adaptation to help keep me and my dog safe (sometimes my walking stability isn't great). She can no longer pull me (a constant training issue with her), and I can operate hands-free knowing she'll be safe while I pick up dog poop or go rooting around in the treat pouch.

I use this with a Ruffwear harness. I really thought front hooks were the only way to stop her from pulling, but actually, with a running leash and this belt, I've found I can handle her little Hulk moments even when we're using the back attachment.

    Great for running or walking!

I take this when we go running or walking around the lake. The extra strap allows my pup to move around without having me to fix the leash from my pup moving to different sides

    Works great, very pleased

Stays snug and doesn’t bounce around. Fits phone, key fob, bags, and of course treats. I like the second strap leash attachment because I can quickly unhook my pup without taking the whole pack off if he wants to greet a friend and play without being attached to me and getting leashes tangled, then I just clip him back in and we’re off again. My dog doesn’t pull much when we run and I tend to keep a hand on his leash, I might worry about the strength of the leash strap if he was a super hard puller. Overall, it’s great, does just what I need.
