When it comes to exploring in and around water, the Undercoat™ Water Jacket offers warmth for dogs who can't resist making a splash in the colder, shoulder seasons or who are prone to getting cold when wet. It's an amphibious jacket that thrives in wet environments, using a formfitting laminated neoprene for insulation that stretches and moves with dogs as they romp and swim. Super-soft, articulated stretch StormSleeves™ are engineered to seal in warmth while maintaining freedom of movement.

Can be worn standalone as an insulative piece, or layered under the Float Coat™ Life Jacket if buoyancy is also needed.

Articulated stretch StormSleeve™ seals in warmth and allows for natural swimming motion.

Better than Hunting Vest
I got this for my German Shorthaired Pointer (Rio) for rafting the cold rivers we run in Colorado. He usually wears a neoprene hunting style vest under his PFD that just covers his core. I like that this jacket has a little more coverage over his rump and arms for a little extra warmth and the color helps him be more visible as he romps the banks. I paired it with a Confluence life jacket from Ruffwear and love the combo. Still haven't floated with it yet, but the fit accommodates his large chest well and the build seems high quality like everything else we've ever ordered from Ruffwear.

Helps my chilly collie!
My border collie has more energy than sense and loves to swim all year round. This jacket keeps him from shaking a little longer when the water temps are down! I I think his new little sister is going to need one now, too.

Excited to try
After measuring before ordering, this fit my pup great! He's still growing, and he should have room to grow a bit more. I'm hoping this will help him stay warm in cold water adventures this winter, as he tends to be a bit of a chilly guy!
